From the Beatles and Carnaby Street to Twiggy and Pop Art, the 1960s saw the United Kingdom emerge as a hotbed of cultural revolution.Called the Swinging Sixties, the era embraced freedom and fun in everything from art to music to fashion.

Designers from chic Paris fashion houses turned their eye to London’s Carnaby Street for inspiration, where youth-driven energy blended feminist strides, progressive ideals, and street fashion. Here, hemlines grew higher and colors got bolder, paving the way for the now- iconic Mod style, with its infectious love for eclectic colors, snazzy geometric prints and daring miniskirts.

We channel the Mod style’s love for patterns with our Willow, a fresh take on the classic one-piece in our signature jade gingham print. The details are in the design: front and back cut-outs and a bandeau-tie front lend the suit flair, a sweetheart neckline and ruched back accentuate the feminine form.
